everytime I turn my screen off, the wifi will stay on but will not work. when i turn the screen back on, the wifi icon is on but showing zero bars, after a couple of seconds the bars will fill up but they are grey instead of yellow. sometimes it takes as much as 30 seconds to a minute for them to turn yellow and then the wifi is fully functional. i checked the wifi sleep policy and it is set to never. what can I do to ensure the wifi actually works when the screen is off so I can receive emails and what not?

First, let us know what phone you have (if I had a nickel for every time I've asked this...)

Are you using Juice Defender or something like that? Your problem sounds exactly like how JD works. Also, I assume you have data turned off, otherwise your emails would come that way. Other than that, I need to know what phone, since they all have different behaviors.

ZTE AT&T Avail. I don't even know what Juice Defender is.

I just did a factory reset. It's an issue with nothing but what came preinstalled
