Hi guys. I got a Galaxy Nexus (GSM) with a 2-year subscription through SFR (a French mobile phone provider). 2 weeks later and I am still running 4.0.1. To my knowledge, you folks in the States are now at 4.0.3.
Yesterday, my wife got a Nexus S (GSM) also through SFR. To my surprise, that phone (brand new, out of the box) is running 2.3.3. I'm not necessarily looking for ICS, but how about 2.3.4 at least?
On both phones, I do the "check for updates" and get the "Your system is currently up to date". This is obviously BS, because I know both phones should have their updates pushed to them.
I am not interested in rooting either device. What options do I have for getting the updates? I'd be willing to plug the phone into my PC and do the update if that is a safe option.
Thanks!
