Droid 2 Activation Bypass..New

Bricking my Droid 2, while never any fun, has led me to discover after sbf the reliable ways of bypass no longer applied. Those being the reliable 4 corner touch, multiple activate, and the few emergency #7 sequences. However, in keeping with the 4 corner tradition, sliding your finger across the four corners allowed me to skip. I've done this three times. Somewhere I discovered as well, that afterwards, since being returned to stock Froyo, the phone update becomes unavailable. To bypass this turn on airplane mode and download through wifi. This will update you back to Gingerbread and oddly, made my device work much faster than it ever had previously.
