Depends on the carrier and the kindness of the CSR. If it's Warranty and you have a documented case of chronic problems then they will usually agree to a new device. If it's Insurance, your chances are less. So break out the charm and give it a shot.Some say that his dormant chips were left that way for YOUR SAFETY...
