Can you pair another device with your phone? Make sure you can do that first. If you can, it's more likely to be the headset.

Additionally, does the headset still pair with your PS3?

I don't think the Sony PS3 wireless headset is Bluetooth. Not all wireless devices are.

Well, if there is no USB component, how else would it be wireless? I don't have a PS3, so, I don't know, but, I can't think of any other way it could possibly be wireless.

They require a USB dongle. Probably uses RF. Definitely not Bluetooth.

Well if it's USB then that answers that question. I guess if somehow you could find a mini USB wireless adapter, doubt that they even exist though. Or if they did, that they'd work. :p
