Hi everyone,

I have a small problem which I don't know how to solve ... on my Ideos x5, every time I call or receive a call the display shows a contact information from SIM card and not the contact that I copied on the phone, which is bad because this way it shows only the number and the name and nothing else. Is there a way to make the contacts stored on the phone the ones that get displayed when calling or receiving a call without deleting the sim card contacts?

Thank you

Go into settings in contacts and see if there is an option for what contacts are displayed or viewed. On my Inspire there is a setting for view with check boxes for Phone, SIM, Google, Facebook, etc. If you can find some setting like that, make sure SIM is unchecked and Phone is checked.

I have already done that and it still does the same when calling and receiving ... in the contact menu it does show only phone contacts but when calling or receiving I see SIM contacts ...

Try deleting them off of the SIM. Back them up to Google or your SD card from the phone, and there's no reason to have them on your SIM.

Another thing to try is to link the contacts. In the upper right of the contacat, you'll see a chain link. Press on that and it will give you a menu of what you want to link to. Try linking the phone and SIM contacts in question. Not sure if you'll have to start from the SIM or the phone. You'll have to try it and see.
