??? Rooting Questions ???

Hello everyone, I recently changed my gs2 for a HTC amaze & the amaze is rooted. My question is what can I do with root & how? The phone already has superuser & Rom manager. I just don't know how to do anything with root.

Root is not something you actually "do" anything with. Root is an elevated permission structure that can allow apps that are written for root permissions to do things and access things on your phone that other apps and standard user permissions can get to. For example, Titanium Backup needs to read and modify areas of the system that a standard user does not have privileges to get to.
