Changing the account

If I change the account on my Thunderbolt will I loose all my contacts and apps?

Yes you'll loose your contacts , you wont lose your apps unless you do a complete factory reset.

You can export your gmail contacts before changing the account and then import them back in after. At least you won't have to re-input them.

In the phone app look under menu -> Settings or menu -> import/export

While you won't lose apps unless you do a factory reset, you won't be able to update your apps, as they are associated with the account.

I went through the same thing when I stupidly set up my phone under a dummy account originally. Had to repurchase all my apps to get everything associated with my 'real' account.
