Huawei Blaze U8510 wifi problems

hi, this phone hase been going great since Xmas, a present for son 10yrs, and the WFI will not stay on.

Been using wifi, outside and abroad no problem and downloading no problem until this morning.
tiried
setting : wireless and networks : turn on wifi : (tick comes on the after 5/7 secs turns off).
setting : wifi settings : wifi (tick comes on then after 5/7 secs turns off)

I seem to remember this happening before and being able to fix it. But don't wanwant to do a whole reboot.
Tried restore, as phone backs up every day, no joy.

Help as he likes this phone.

Wifi is ok here laptops and pc work fine as does PS3

Come on you tech wizards, this apprears to be a common problem with diffferent makes fo android phones. Must be some sort of software or firmware problem.Mobile is running everything apart from wifi and the usual ......process not working - force closure, try again. I've seen this on other searches and forum so surely the tech guys can solve this and save everyone the hassle it creates.

i had this problem. and someone helped me. it was the router timeout. but open your router and change dhcp setting from forever to 1 day or 1 week.
worked for me

Have you tried forgetting the network and adding it back?

Also, tech wizards... that puts the greatest image in my head. Hahaha.
