Hi,

I know I'm new here, but I'm hoping I can get some help.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000; this evening I plugged it into Kies and it said there was an update available (Ver. 11.07.06.01). Kies has downloaded the software, however when it comes to the "Firmware upgrade" part it has just frozen.

My upgrade process has been at 0% for about 2 hours with no error message.

My phone has the Android digging with the message: "Downloading... Do not turn off Target!!!"

What do I do?

If I unplug the phone will I brick it?

If not, how do I get Kies to complete the upgrade?

My phone is not rooted or anything; only updated via Kies

Sorry I don't have any other information regarding the spec of my phone as I cannot click on any other links on Kies due to the "Firmware upgrade" box being shown.

I've attached a screenshot to show you the Kies screen I can see.
