On a hTC Desire S a friend is having a problem when opening the Mail app. He can't see any mail in any folders other than trash, and gets the following message when he opens the app:
Server response: exceeded the login limit for a 15 minute period. Reduce the frequency of requests to the POP3 server.

Has anyone experienced this before or have a fix to it?

Go into the mail app strings via menu, settings, applications. Clear the stored data and setup the email again. Hopefully that clears out any problems the app is having.
