Howdy folks. Search all over for this topic, but no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I own a Mazda CX-9 that includes wireless music access via Bluetooth. Listening to music wirelessly is not an issue, but I used to be able to see the song that was playing on my CX-9's LCD display. (That's when I was using a rooted Droid Bionic running a custom ROM). But I've since upgraded to an HTC Rezound and lost the ability to see the current song that's playing on my phone.

Is this an issue with the Bluetooth version? Music player? Both???

Re: Viewing music info on your vehicle's LCD display via Bluetoot

It might be the music player. I would try a 3rd party player like PowerAMP and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I own PowerAmp and it doesn't work either. I've also tried Google Music and Winamp and no luck with either of them.

HTC Rezound running Scott's CleanROM

I am having the same problem (but with a Subaru) it must be a setting or plugin needed on the phone?

Just upgraded to ICS, no luck.

Anyone know anything?

I recently got rid of my Rezound and got the Samsung Galaxy S3 and presto... I can now see the title, album ad artist while listening to music via Bluetooth.

I guess it's the Bluetooth version?!
