Default Lookout, Where's My Droid, or Where's My Mobile from SamsungDive

What are your thoughts on the pros and cons of Lookout Security & Antivirus, Where's My Droid, and Where's My Mobile from SamsungDive?

What if any do you use? and for what features?

    Any others worth mentioning? Norton?

I have no anti virus protection on my phone and I've never had any problems.

I do have Mobile Recovery on my phone because I have Verizon's TEC, and, it came with it. I'd never pay for an app like that though (not sure if what you listed are pay apps) because I'm very careful with my phone and I always know where it is.

I use Android Lost for physical security and Avast for virus protection. I'd never put a Norton product that came from Symantec on any of my computers. (I had all of the software that Peter wrote himself, back in the day. That was top of the line code, and his book was excellent. I wouldn't mind a copy of Diskedit that ran on Windows 7, I'm just too lazy and busy to write something myself.)

Third party AV software for computers is pointless nowadays on a Windows box. Security Essential is one of the best things Microsoft has done in a while, besides Windows 7, haha.

I use Cerberus for phone tracking and the ability to send messages and stuff to the phone, locate it, remotely wipe/lock it, etc. Can even have it take a picture, video, record sound and a bunch of other stuff.

Pretty happy with it. In fact I actually had to use it the other day since I misplaced the phone and don't have a landline to call it....so just fired up the web page and sent the alarm command and found it that way (it was in the couch, of course)

I use prey for phone tracking or protection if in case it got missing; but no antivirus though. I'd think you are safe as long as you didn't install any shady apps with blurry icon (porn-related apps, usually )
