So I am eagerly awaiting the 2.2 update to be pushed out to my Nexus One.
My question is for those who have already received the OTA or manually installed Froyo on a NON-ROOTED phone:
What happens when Froyo is installed?
-- Will I lose any apps?
-- Will any apps be broken or need updating?
-- Will my settings & prefs remain or will I need to re-do them?
-- Will the email, Facebook, Twitter, etc accounts stay on or need to be re-created?
Basically, will the upgrade be easy-peasy or will it be a hassle?
I am excited about some of the fixes that are reported--especially the email related improvements like signatures, account selection, etc.
But I want to know what to expect.
Thanks,
aviduser
