will i lose my upgrade if i change my plan?

i am moving onto my wife's verizon plan. she has an upgrade coming at the end of this month. because her plan has to change for me to be added she has to agree to this:

"By changing to the new calling plan, I will receive promotions (if any) that apply to my new plan. The promotions associated with my current plan may no longer be valid."

does this mean if we do this she will lose her upgrade?

Unless something has changed in the last 3 or 4 months, no. My wife and I just did that same thing, and neither of us lost our upgrades.

I would also say no. Though you should check with Verizon just to be sure.
