Using 2 step authentication when you're a ROM flasher?
I just read the recent AC article on the need to use 2-step authentication, and I want to start using it. Over the past year or so I've switched to Android and started using my gmail account for everything. Using 2-step authentication seems like a great idea, but there's one problem. I've recently become a regular ROM flasher (enjoying the sweet taste of Jelly Bean
)
From what I've read using 2 step authentication when you're regularly flashing ROMs is a pretty big pain. Are they any other ROM flashers out there that also use 2 step? Can you share some advice on how they handle this? What are your tips and tricks for managing everything? (Looking at you Jerry

Re: Using 2 step authentication when you're a ROM flasher?
do you just flash nighties or do you wipe clean format the external storage?
if you just flash ROM nighties without factory reset of the external storage then you dont even have to enter the password every time you flash the nighties.
I flash nighlies on my tablet every once in a while and i dont have to put the password when i do it. Authentication are stored in external storage. - 08-08-2012, 08:57 AM
