I have a HTC Rhyme android and I cannot get the ringtones for contacts to change from the default ringtone. I hit apply when I choose a ringtone for the contact and it just stays on default. Help!

Are you able to switch the ringtone for all contacts? Try switching that, maybe it's just bugged out and switching it could clear it up.

Also, maybe it's just not showing that it's switched. After you select the new ringtone, have you tried getting that person to call you to see if it's still playing the default ring?

Lastly, did you try rebooting your phone? Ya never know.
