This is probably not the right place..
but i have been working on this for 5 hours and am getting frustrated
i have a samsung epic 4g touch that i have rooted and am currently using cyagen 9
or however u spell it. I want to go back to the stock rom as my google play does not work
nor does my gmail and it is hard to install the apps i need etc with neither one working
i had backed up my rom with clockwork mod and it had restored once but not the restore
has dissappeared and i cannot figure out how to get back to stock
can someone help me so i can start over or at least recommend me a solid rom
i dont mind keeping a custom rom however i really need for the app store to work! - 08-19-2012, 07:47 AM

I know u have to use Odin to flash back to stock

Maybe because you didn't title the thread anything remotely helpful so people need to open the thread just to read it, only to find they don't own the same device or run the same ROM. Or aren't familiar with flashing ROMs (which is a very small part of the Android community). But at least you gave the forum a whopping 2.5 hours before turning all condescending.

sounds like you are experiencing the loss of service bug. Toggle airplane mode to re-establish service. Otherwise, head for the e4gt root / hack forum and look for the sticky informing how to root stock ICS firmware. Since you are new to this use Odin to prevent bricking the phone. Read up on the phone and how to safeguard against a hard brick.
The instructions to root the device will load a rooted stock ROM. - 08-19-2012, 09:15 AM #10
