Galaxy 8.9 stuck downloading...

I have no idea what's going on here. I opened up my tablet and it's just been stuck on this screen for a few hours. I hadn't used it in 2 days and this was the first thing that came up when I hit "power".

I don't think so to be honest.

I just realized that second picture came up blurry.

Here's what the text on the screen says:

"Odin download mode (protocol v3.1)"

" reason: force key
Secure mode: secure
Check signature: check
Custom binary mode: no (0 counts)
Current binary:Samsung official
Waiting usb cable......"

Like I said earlier, I have no idea what is going on here . Help anyone?

Is it still stuck there? I'm not saying do this, because I'm not sure what the ramifications would be, but, have you done a battery pull? If you have, did it successfully boot? If not, does it just get stuck on these screens again? If so, can you access the boot menu and try and do a reset?

I use my tablet every day. In the middle of a game today, it shut off. For about an hour, it cycled on and off. Finally, I got the same screen shown above. I thought maybe it was trying to upgrade to JellyBean, so I downloaded Samsung Kies and hooked it to my laptop. It then said, "Connected! Press the [Start] of Odin3!!" Nothing works. Please help.
