Gnex won't complete boot: how can I save images?
So my gnex (verizon, completely stock) has crapped out: when booting, the word "google" that is first displayed flickers a bit, then the startup animation flickers, then it restarts (having never completed the boot). I _can_ get the bootloader menu to display. When I plug the USB into a computer, it says "device driver failed to load".
My question: is there any way to save data (pictures in particular) from this phone?
I'm returning it to verizon in a couple days and it'd be sweet if I could grab the pics of my pet rats first
thanks! - 09-07-2012, 09:56 AM #2

If you can't boot it up, I think you are SOL.

No problem. Does the device have an SD slot? If so, make sure to set your pics up to go to it in the future and next time you'll be able to save them.

to avoid such things in future enable instant upload in google+. as soon as the pics/videos are taken it upload to google+ and keep it private. I enabled it the hard way after losing some pictures.
