Does anyone know if it's possible to use Google Music (either stored in the cloud or saved to device) as a ring tone for an alarm clock? I like to wake up to some tunes.

Nope. not possible according to my understanding. The files are encrypted/cached to prevent piracy

The double twist app will allow you to use Google Music on your device as your alarm.

Actually, there is a way, but it's a little roundabout. You have to download the music track from your Google Play Music library on your computer browser, then transfer the mp3 file to the Alarms directory on the phone's Internal Storage (via USB or the cloud). The song should now show up as a choice when you select an alarm.
