Hi. I have an droid x phone, and recently bought a iPad that I would like to sync to my phone. I would like to transfer all my contacts from droid to iPad. How can I do it? Thank you
Carlos
You can use the More > Export option on the Google Contacts site to quickly export a file that can then be imported into iCloud, though new contacts won't sync thereafter. I do believe you can set up direct Google Contacts syncing by using CardDAV.
iOS Device:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Add Account > Add CardDAV Account
Fill in the fields as follows:
Server: google.com
User Name: email address of the source Google account
Password: password of the source Google account
Description: as you see fit...
The really easy method I find is to have a Google Account where you can keep contacts, calendar, email and on the iPad you can use Google Calendar (especially if you share calendars) and you can sync contacts, email etc. or add Inbox or Gmail apps (which are far better than the native iOS email).
