Help! I have a Nexus 7 tablet. After I "View" and then "Save" photos received as attachments from Gmail, the thumbnail icons appear in Gallery but I can't thereafter open them. When I go into Gallery and touch the photo thumbnail, all I get is a black screen. The file's thumbnail icon in the Gallery is a generic icon and not the usual small thumbnail of the photo itself.

How do I view photos downloaded or saved to the Gallery? I haven't changed any Settings which may or may not affect viewing.

Does it show up when you click view from the email itself?

Got it working and photos are now visible. Had to enable photos for e-mail recipients with attachments and after saving them, they show up in Gallery. Thanks.

I received a photo in an email. No attachment. Is there any way to save this to the gallery?
