receiving texts late at&t fusion U8652

I keep getting texts late, only by about a few minutes. Last night I put my phone in airplane mode, this morning I took it off airplane mode. I was texting someone and wasn't getting their texts back. So I restarted my phone and started getting a bunch of texts from last night and this morning. Usually after that everything is normal, but that's when texts started coming late. I've tried restarted my phone a few more times. nothing really changes. and the little light that tell me i have a text never stops blinking. It's annoying..
