Exchange email will not connect

I just bought my droid milestone and cannot set up my exchange email. It is a .edu and I've had the IT help me and it will not connect. It keeps saying my domain name/password combination is incorrect. The IT gave me multiple possible combinations for domain name, but none of them work. Does anyone know how I can set up this account?

Try downloading an application from the Market, called Touchdown, and see if you have better luck connecting with it.

..or any other Exchange client for that matter. HTC's Work Email, Moxier and RoadSync are other popular options.
