droid 2 global help

i have a droid 2 global and my daughter spilled water on it. i took the cards out put it in rice and luckily it dried out however i missplace the cards i believe one is an sd not sure what the other is.. do i need those cards in order to reactive my droid for use? thanks in advance

I would guess it was a SIM card, in which case, yes, you need it.
