Help upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3 or whatever Chinese phone PCD ARD-2100

I really can use some help upgrading my android 2.1, this is a Chinese cell PCD Model ADR-2100 Ver 2.2 Baseband TFNCKNLYM -0640-197
Kernel 2.632.9-perf-SVN4324 BUILDSRV@LXDEV#1
BUILD adr2100-GT-V1.0.9-20110914
This my first Android and I?m getting old so if you young people can help me I will greatly appreciate it.
I tried different methods without any results....phone is rooted

You are rooted, but, can't flash a ROM? Just trying to understand exactly where you are stuck.

Yes I'm rooted, I guess I don't know what ROM I can use for this cell.

If it's some random Chinese cell phone, I don't know if you are going to be able to find a ROM, maybe. Just google the model number and try and find one. I doubt CM is going to have one for it, but, you can check if you want. But, I dunno that I'd waste too much time looking for one.

Why exactly do you want to flash a new ROM?

Thanks for your response. I want to flash b/c there are many apps Im not able to D/W "Incompatible device" The drivers that were installed are Mellon USB Device. What I want to do is upgrade my android from 2.1 to a higher version IF POSSIBLE. Thanks again.... Are there other options? or buy a real phone.

No problem.

Can't really think of anything. I'm not the most experienced flasher out there, so, maybe some others will chime in with some advice.

If not, yea, probably best to think about getting a more main stream phone. If it's just an app incompatibility thing, just get a more mainstream phone and you shouldn't have that issue, you wouldn't even need to flash.

Thanks Devinator Yeah best think is to buy a REAL phone, bought this one really cheap but I don't see a solution either, thanks again buddy
