How do I create multiple e-mail aliases? (Help for an iPhone user!)

I have been an iPhone user, so forgive me if the answer to this question is simple (I hope!), but I have been unable to find it.

I have one Exchange mailbox, but I have several e-mail addresses all of which forward/redirect incoming e-mail into it. So, when I reply (or, for that matter, send a new e-mail), I want to be able to select any one of my multiple "from" e-mail addresses. I have always been able to configure this in Outlook (Windows) and also on my iPhone (iMore has simple instructions here: Daily Tip: How to set up mail aliases on iPhone, iPad | iMore.com). However, I cannot figure out how to do this on my new Nexus 7. I see how to set up another e-mail account, but then that address can only be used when accessing that account. I want to be able to send from any of my e-mail addresses at any time. Is this possible on the default Android e-mail app; and, if so, how? Or, do I need a third-party app; and if so, which one?

Thank you.
