A friend of mine has a Droid Incredible 2 (ADR 6350). Over the past few days it has been downloading some random photo every 15 minutes, saving a new version in her Gallery each time. She installed anti-virus software and it found nothing, then she uninstalled suspect apps (she doesn't have many on the phone)-- did nothing. Then (and this is the part that really confuses me), she did a factory reset and wiped everything but the SD card. Sure enough, it kept downloading the random photo every 15 minutes once it was setup again (and with no non-core apps re-installed). So odd. It is some photo for a flooding house, she has no idea what it is from. Any ideas for what could possibly be causing this and why even a full factory reset didn't fix it?

BTW, it does stop when she puts the phone in airplane mode and kills the data connection.

    Thanks!

It appears in the gallery and then in the album "all downloads". Thanks!
