I have a Casio G'zone c771 and when I try to use it while driving it will initialize and listen but it is not hearing me and will timeout and read speech not heard. Any ideas?

I have a Casio G'zone c771 and when I try to use it while driving it will initialize and listen but it is not hearing me and will timeout and read speech not heard. Any ideas?
Does it work when not driving? I have found I have to speak very loudly in my car, but my cabin is relatively noisy. A Bluetooth headset helps a lot.
