Google account issues: Play Store, contacts, etc...

Let me first say that I only have 1 phone, a HTC One S, and I only have 1 Google account.

I have noticed some strange things happening with my Google account both on the phone and in the browser. There are 25 songs that I bought from Google play music that will not sync via music manager. The error says they were bought with a different Google account, but I only have one google account and it's the one I used to purchase them a year ago.

I also have some contacts that have disappeared. There is a Mexican restaurant I call twice a month, but when I called it today the contact was no longer in my phone... without me deleting it. Is anyone else having these kind of issues?

Wow, these songs don't appear in my order history on the play store any longer either. I have the credit card charges where I bought these. So far the Play Store support hasn't helped.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are you absolutely sure you bought those songs while logged into your Google account? Could you possibly have used a family member's or friend's computer or device that was already logged into their account?

No, not stupid at all. I was trying to think if there was any way that could have happened for a few days now. I don't think anyone has been logged into this computer ever. Also, music manager which I am signed into with my google account downloaded these songs to this computer from Play. I downloaded, installed, and signed into music manager the day it was released and haven't touched it since. So that would mean they were bought with my account. Even still, to double check I went on my wife's laptop (only thing she uses) and checked her order history...no music at all.

I still have the mp3 files. I was trying to see what account these mp3's say they were purchased with. Does anyone know how? I checked the ID3 tags and they don't say anything. Since I still have the 25 songs on my computer that were "bought with another account" shouldn't they say what account somehow?

I also still don't know how the Mexican restaurant I call an order in to every 2 weeks is now all of a sudden gone from my contacts too?? There may be others but I haven't found them yet

Edit: Oh, and no I didn't buy them anywhere else. I know I was at home on this computer because I was preparing for a Christmas party here and I specifically remember buying Christmas music while getting the house ready. I am just now noticing because I am looking for my Christmas music again.

I emailed them last week and they sent a link on how to recover an account. I replied saying that wasn't the issue but they never responded.

Just a few minutes ago I contacted them by phone. The guy was helpful and said he would forward this issue to a specialist and they would get back to me in 24 hours. I'll post the results here.
