Hello!

Does anyone have any recommendations for an android based mp3 player for around $50?

Looking for one as a gift. The recipient would be using it for running anviled general workouts.

So basically a small mp3 player around $50....Like an iPod nano but not apple based

I'm not aware of any reputable Android MP3 players that are around $50 new. The Samsung Galaxy players start around $150.

I suggest you search on eBay for used Android phones around that price point. You should be able to find some decent devices that can act as a portable media player, and they could still connect to the internet via wifi, so they would still be decent web-surfing devices as well.
