When I try to install Chrome, my phone gives me a message that it is incompatible with Google Chrome/

    How could that be?

Anyone know how to install Chrome on an X?

Unfortunately Chrome is available only to ICS and up. If your on Gingerbread your OS is not supported.

Thanks. My "About Phone /System Version" shows:

    1.3.418MB870

    "Android Version" is 2.3.5

don't know whether this is ICS or not, but "System Updates" says it is the latest version (but this might refer to Verizon system info)

How does one tell which Android version one has?
