    Default Pop up notifications not workiing on Galaxy S3 i9300T

    I have just switched from an iphone to a galaxy and am still working out all the tricks on the s3. One thing i seem to be having a problem with is the pop up notifications. what i would like is to have the phone wake up and show the email notifications on the lockscreen like the iphone does. I have notifications turned on for both gmail and the email app as well as facebook but the only time this works is with the messages. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Model:GT-I9300T
    Android Version: 4.1.1

    You want to change lock screen then or mod existing one if its possible (which i douth)
