Error 498 while downloading apps

Is anybody else getting this??? I read that it had to do with cache partition so I wiped that and it still pops up everytime I try and download an application. Help???

did you try unistalling some unneeded apps, wiping cache and trying again?
Also maybe try clearing market data
settings>applications>all>market>clear data

I have tried all if that I cleared all apps and cache and it still doesnt work I think I'm gonna have to call customer service
Idk if I can though I'm using a rooted phone

They can't tell you are rooted over the phone. Can't you just unroot

How long has this been going on? If it just recently happened, try backing out the apps you recently installed. If that doesn't work, contact Google about the error. Last resort, factory reset.

It has been going on for a few days. If I factory reset will it unroot my phone?? Because that's the last thing I want to happen

I talked to Google and the Rep tried helping me but he couldn't so he told to factory reset but I'm gonna wait before I do that

error 498, yup its happen with my P1000 Gtab. I still don't know why. But I think I found a clue. This error only works if I try to downloads an application above 38 Kb higher. It won't happen with file under 35Kb. So I think there is something looks like limiter download were working on my Gtab after I swipe to default condition. I don't know, its just my noob thought

and now I still searching a limiter rules setting on my gtab. I hope its leading to a clue. Thanks....

Well I factory reset my phone and it solve the problem for a couple days I'm getting the error again so I gave up on it
