Hey everyone
I have a small problem
Each time i download smthng from play store and it finishes diwnloading i keep getting the same ad about downloading a stupid font and it gets pretty enoying, so i gave it a try and downloaded it but the message keeps showing up. Is it a virus or is it common? Thanks - 01-26-2013, 11:48 AM #2

Re: Ad getting on my nerves
Did you install any apps recently that might be doing this? Try backing out your latest apps.

Re: Ad getting on my nerves
You might want to be more careful with what you install, check the permissions before you install, and install less apps at a time. If you install a couple apps at a time and make sure your device is stable before installing more, it'll be easier to identify problem apps.

Have you looked through your running apps for anything suspicious?

Re: Ad getting on my nerves
I would just start uninstalling them if it has only been a couple of days.
Check the getting started link at the top of the AC site. It has info about rooting.

Re: Ad getting on my nerves
There are many ad blocker apps out there to block push notifications and ads in apps. I'm rooted and use the RomToolbox Pro and the ad blocker that comes with it is the best one I have used so far. Worst case you can always do a factory reset

Re: Ad getting on my nerves
Unless you have a specific reason to root your device, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you got Jelly Bean when you hold notification it will show you can check application information which send the notification, you can disable notifications from that application there too
