All,I have been reading for hours and hours.I have downloaded hdwin player. It only works on rooted phones. So then I start researching rooting my phone. Checked out urevoked web site,that software doesn't recognize my phone. I also checked into z4root upon more research ,this is only a temporary root. In the friggin 5 hr. Reading process I managed to spider my phone screen, and break the screen on my personal laptop. All I am tryin to do is be able to play a movie on my phone and have it appear on the t.v. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Dave

When you have your phone plugged in VIA HDMI, does it display anything on your TV? Or is it just the videos you are trying to play?

I am on the Sprint network. The phone is a HTC EVO 4G. The o.s. is 2.3.5. Thanks again

It does play clips that I film, and show a slideshow. But it will not let me play a video on the tv that I downloaded . The video does play on my phone though. I had to download mx player to play them.,because the phone kept saying it could not play the video. Thanks again,Dave
