I have a galaxy s 3 on sprint with cm10 installed. I use handcent for my text messages but obviously the standard messaging app is still installed and when I open it I can view all my text conversations going all the way back to when I got my phone.

How can I back these up in a text file or otherwise so I can store them on my laptop?

    thanks

I think Handcent has a backup option as part of their paid service, but there is an app called SMS Backup+ that can back them up to your gmail account, and has the option to only backup certain threads if you want.
