Bizarre problem trying to delete files from Galaxy Nexus
I've run into a strange one here; I used ClockworkMod to perform some backups a while back, but was never able to successfully move the files from my device to my computer for storage. I later installed TWRP, and used it to create my backups and these were no longer problematic. Unfortunately, there is a large quantity of ClockworkMod backup folder contents that I cannot get rid of. When I attempt to delete them, the operation just times out. This happens whether I attempt to do it through Windows Explorer with my device connected to my PC, or directly from the device through any File Explorer app.
Has anybody run into this, and do you have any suggestions on how to go about fixing this?
EDIT: Though I had tried this previously to no effect, I reinstalled the most current version of ES File Explorer, and it was able to delete the recalcitrant directory and its wasted files!
