That`s a indication that the charger is not compatible. Don`t use other charger when charging because it is not safe. Charging from a charger that is not compatible to your phone can cause danger or harm to you and to your phone. There is a possibility that it will overcharged or battery will explode.

It's not quite that simple and isn't much more than a marketing tactic to get you to buy the OEM chargers. As long as it meets the minimum amperage rating of the phone, you're good to go. It's the phone that meters the power draw, so an over charge issue like you claim would actually be a problem with the phone or battery, not the charger.

Now it may be possible that an OEM charger will last longer than a no-name $2 third aftermarket charger, but that's about the only consideration. Even then, there are still plenty of quality aftermarket chargers that won't cost near as much as the OEM.
