Please help! I put a custom rom on my phone and now there is no baseband and no connection
i have a samsung galaxy nexus and i just downloaded a custom rom. after i got in on the phone i noticed there was no service. i went into phone info and it said there was no baseband. i also checked to see if it had my phone number but it said unknown. What do i do?

Which version of the GNex are you using? Verizon, Sprint or the Google store version (GSM model on AT & T or T Mobile or International).
Regardless of the above it sounds like you lost your radio (modem) somehow.. You will need to flash this which can be done usually via custom recovery.
