Best app to sync phone to PC
I'm looking to switch sync apps. I've been using Titanium Media Sync (TMS) for awhile now, but the developer has never responded nor fixed a bug I've encountered. I am happy with the functionality of TMS, but the bug prevents me from realizing its capability. It's also discouraging that the developer has not responded to my repeated bug reports. Basically, I wish to automatically copy folders from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone to folders on the PC. Either WiFi or USB would be acceptable. TMS is totally automatic and updates the PC whenever it detects a change in one of the selected folders on phone eg, adding a pic to camera folder. I prefer to use the FTP communications protocol. Can anyone recommend an app? Thanks

Re: Best app to sync phone to PC
I've started to evaluate FolderSync, but I've encountered the problem where it repeatably uploads and overwrites files that have not changed on the phone. This causes syncs to take much longer than necessary. There are two pros:
1. No problem backing up both of our laptops which TMS has trouble doing
2. Maintains correct timestamp on all files which TMS doesn't do
Nevertheless, if I can't solve the overwrite issue, I will need to disqualify it

Re: Best app to sync phone to PC
I've now discovered that FolderSync cannot reliably maintain a backup schedule. Based upon this and the above I've disqualified it. The functionality of both Titanium Media Sync and FolderSync is acceptable, but the implementation leaves much to be desired. Can anyone recommend alternatives with similar functionality that work as advertised?
