diagnosing a Wi-fi connection that drops out shortly after connecting.
I use llama to enable/disable some stuff (data/sync off when screen off..that sort of thing) in an attempt to stretch my battery's charge as long as I can... and I have it to the point where I've really extended things, but its causing a buggy Wi-Fi... after things have been running for a bit (i.e. Wi-Fi toggled a fair number of times), the Wi-Fi connection drops out after connection. It'll connect up fine, then 10 seconds or so later, POOF! My access point shows as "Saved/Secured" as if it can't see it. When I get to this point, I typically have to reboot to clear... I am not 100% certain, but it seems to coincide when it goes to rescan for nearby networks.
Its not the obvious stuff (bad AP, poor signal, etc).... I grabbed an app that will show me system logs for when this pops up again, but if anyone has any tips/suggestions on where to look, how best to view the logs, etc.
Granted, it may turn out that I am SOL and that its nothing I can mitigate, but at least I'll know.
