Hi there!

I just switched over to a brand new Galaxy Note 2 and have a question.

I hate having my Google contacts and other information automatically sync to my phone so I went to Settings > Accounts > Google > and disabled sync for everything except my Gmail and Google Calendar. However, the issue I'm having so that when I create a Contact in my phone (saved to the phone) and go on Facebook to find a picture to "Set As" that individuals contact picture, my Google Contacts including my "saved to phone" contacts appear in that list. But when I go to my Contacts icon on my homescreen, it does not show my google contacts.

What can I do to remedy this? Much thanks in advance.
