Paranoid Android or Jelly Bean, are they safe?
Hi there :), this is my first post in this site, and I just wanted to ask you guys if is it safe to install Jelly Bean or Paranoid Android on my phone? So basicly a couple of weeks ago I saw some apps in the store that I really wanted (like Temple Run 2, Subway Surfers and Super Hexagon) but they aren't compatible with my phone (I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830M) a friend told me to update my software but it was already up to date, so I googled how to make these apps compatible and found a way to do it, basicly just root your phone and edit some lines in the build.prop, I did so and rebooted my phone and found myself in a bootloop, after that I took it to technical service to get it fixed. 2-3 weeks later I got my phone back with all my contacts and apps deleted, and since then I have this "phobia" to change or edit anything on my phone and get myself into a bootloop again or something worse, I just fear that if I install Jelly Bean or Paranoid Android I mess up again like I did last time and just want to make sure it's safe. I'm kinda new on Android so I don't have much knowledge about it, this is my first smartphone by the way and I'm still getting used to it.
Thanks for your time :p and sorry for my bad English.

Its as safe as you following instructions to the letter. But you could brick out then have to go to more costly extremes.
