Transfering contacts to car audio... without spaces
Hi all,
I own a LG Optimus 4X HD smartphone, Android 4.0.3.
I have paired it with my car audio without problems. When someone calls me, the caller's number is seen on the car audio's display like that: 0156794537854. Ok, no problem.
However, when I share contacts between the LG and the car audio's phonebook, all phone numbers seem to be edited on-the-fly during the transfer and they get stored like that: 015 679 4537854. Those spaces appear out of nowhere.
It renders the car audio's phonebook useless. If I try to make a call to a number like that, the car audio tries to make a call to "015". The space keeps the car audio from calling the full number.
Those spaces create another problem. Suppose that there's someone on the phonebook with the number 015 679 4537854. When this person calls me, the number received from the smartphone — which has no spaces, and is shown correctly on the car audio's display — is different from the one with spaces, stored on the car audio's phonebook. Therefore, the number is not identified and the caller's name doesn't show on screen.
So, the question is: how do I share contacts between my smartphone and my car audio without having those spaces embedded on the phone numbers?
Thank you all in advance,
Henrique
