Should I get the Samsung Galaxy S3?

I just got a new phone...a Pantech Discover. This is my first smartphone and my first Android device (i'm more familiar with iOS) And the guy at the store said that it had very similar specs and whatnot to the GS3. I really do like the Discover...but sometimes i feel like i'd rather have the GS3? And even though the Discover was cheaper, the GS3 is only $50 more. I'm not sure what I should do....because I don't really want to complicate things. What do you think? Also...the GS3 is older than the Discover.....idk. :-\

The Pantech looks like a nice phone and you're right the specs are similar. Things to consider though:

Modding, if you plan on rooting/modding than I'd assume the s3 will have much more support

Forum support, far more s3 owners so help and advise will be more plentiful

Screen tech, not sure on the Discover but the s3 is of the amoled family of screen tech. For some that's a major plus and for others like myself it's a negative.

Just my opinion of course
