Best phone for listening to music?

My razr is terrible for listening to music, i end up using my ipod instead. Are there any phones that would be as good in sound quality as an ipod?

Not as good because Apple products use a different format for music... but HTC one should have great sound quality along with some of the other HTC devices using Beats Audio software

With or without headphones? My DNA has a great speaker output and beats audio boosts the bass pleasantly. The HTC ONE has dual front facing speakers as well as beats audio so media will be spectacular on it. The Galaxy Note 2 has decent speaker output, without the boost of beats..
