I need help in picking out a screen protector. I usually never use one, so it been a long time since I've purchased any. I'm getting a new phone and would like to get a decent one.

I remember using one before that was somewhat textured looking, left no finger prints or smudges when using the screen. Your finger would smoothly glide across the screen....any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Dear Mysidx,
The screen protector you are referring to is an anti-glare screen protecter. I personally prefer the smooth, glass look, but I agree with your statement. Its a nuisance to constantly wipe off your prints. Which phone are you considering? I have the Note II, and went with anti-glare due to the fact that I bought the Otterbox Defender case. The texture of the anti-glare screen protector allows it to breathe inside the case. The case itself has a built in screen, which would stick to a traditional smooth protector screen. This causes it to look like you have water stuck in between two pieces of plastic.

As far as where to buy it... You can go with a cheap three dollar package of two protectors on Amazon. But I went the safe route and bought the one they offered when I bought my phone. It was twenty bucks, however if it ever starts to peel I walk in and they replace it for free. InvisibleShield was the brand I believe.

Hope this helps! :3

P.S. The people that sell you the phone put gazillions of screen protectors on. So you may be happier with them putting it on. But honestly the real trick is the solution they spray on the phone before applying it. No bubbles ftw.
