Well my 8gb Micro SD card took a dump. Not quite sure what the cause was. External storage was working just fine. I installed Airdroid (decided to see how it compared to Wi-Fi File Transfer). I tried using it to transfer the first season of The Big Bang Theory to my phone. Well something went wrong [mod edit]
Has this ever happened to anyone? Airdroid seemed like a very impressive app. I personally believe the fault was my own, I'm just trying to narrow down the possible causes to prevent it from happening again. I have another 8gb card for the time being (been looking for a deal on a 64gb). The one that died was about 2 years old, recycled from my Xperia Play. I did not format the card, perhaps that was a mistake on my part.
